Card Creation: Carrion Harvester by AlienProbe

Carrion Harvesters are an abomination created by the Ixa in order to keep up with production during times of war.
After a bombing run the harvesters will go back over the area that they bombed picking up any usable debris that they
find. This salvaged material is then shipped to one of their industrial planets to be used for whatever purpose they
designed.

It is rumored that the Carrion Harvesters not only scavenge building materials but also the remains of their fallen
comrades and enemies. It is said that the dead refuse is recycled into food products and distributed to the Ixa
population to satisfy their insatiable appetites.

The Carrion Harvesters bomb like any normal bomber during war times. They also have an activated ability that
destroys an enemy citizen. Use this ability wisely because the destiny penalties can add up. When a harvester is
destroyed, its owner gets another destiny penalty because of the uproar created when the remains of once living
beings are discovered in big heaps labled...Solient Green.

Card Creation: Omega Command by AlienProbe

The Omega Command is a hidden subroutine burned into the BIOS of every Android creation. The masters embedded
the programming into there subjects and equipment to gain increased performance when the need arises. Daemon
Omega is the only Android who can initiate the Omega Command.

Once the command is given, a signal is sent out to all Android entities. Because of the many fail safes installed, some
Android entities and equipment temporarily go off line which causes a major disruption in production.

Those entities that are instructed to initiate the Omega Command immediately go into Overclocked Mode. The
overclocking of their internal processors allows the Android entities to react at a highly increased level. The benefits
of the overclocking allows ships to target faster or move more quickly. Overclocked heroes and citizens can make rapid
decisions giving them an increase in leadership or influence. The downside to overclocking is the fatal melt down of the
entities core processors. Once the Omega Commands duration expires so does the effected entity.

The Omega Command is used as a last ditch effort for a major assault or defense. Because it shuts down all Android
production, the Omega Command is only given under dire circumstances and only when success is gauranteed.

Card Creation: Gravity Cannon by AlienProbe

Entropy scientists at Legion X's research center on Eclipses have made many breakthroughs in the field of gravity
mechanics. One such breakthrough was the invention of gravity repulsers. This  was a revolutionary device that would
change every day life. It could be adapted for use in the industrial sector for heavy commercial lifting and
transportation as well as use in the home for menial lifting chores. Legion X, however, saw only one use for it, a weapon
of awesome destructive power.

Daemon Gladiator installed the first of these gigantic gravity cannons on Eclipses, ensuring the safety of their newest
secret weapon.  The gravity cannon could hurl projectiles weighing in the megatons into local space. The cannon is very
effective against large, slow moving cruisers and capital ships but is not quick enough to target small ships.

The gravity cannon saw its first action after the Emperor got wind of the secret project. He sent a fleet to secure
the devices plans not knowing that Legion X already had a fully function gravity cannon on Eclipses. The Emperors fleet
came through the jump gate at Eclipses and was met by a smaller Android fleet and hail of heavy metal rounds from the
gravity cannon. The first volley from the cannon demolished one the Emperors Imperial Battle Cruisers and the rest of
the Ferrier fleet turned tail and ran. When news of this event spread through the universe, Legion X and her allies
finally gained the fearful respect that they deserved.

Card Creation: Orbital Power Generator by Black_Dawn

The Kej engineers at Matrix Prime discovered a way to transmit power from their cruiser's engines to  a planet's
surface. This allowed them to aid planets in distress or to boost production at planets already at full capacity.

The system for transmitting the ship's energy requires that the ship maintain a careful orbit. Strict orbit
requirements and the added strain on the ship's engines means that the cruiser can not fire weapons or take evasive
maneuvers. This leaves the ship extremely vulnerable to enemy attacks.

Once the energy transmission process is cycled up, it can't be shut off for 4 turns during which time any interruptions
in the process will cause the ship's engines to overload and detonate. Of course if this happens the planet's surface will
be scorched along with its inhabitants. This type of event should be avoided at all cost otherwise severe cultural
backlash will occur.

This card is a real Kej powerhouse and can be used later in the game to boost production significantly.

Card Creation: Antimatter Beam by AlienProbe

The Ixa have always been at the forefront of reverse shield engineering technology. They have invented a number of
devices that allow their weapons to pass through an opponents shields and strike the targets hull directly. Against most
enemies this gives the Ixa a significant advantage in combat. Against opponents who rely on heavily bulked up hulls such
as the Androids and the Silica this advantage is greatly diminished.

To counter enemy hull modifications the Consortium experimented with a blend of antimatter stabilized within a new
type of energy beam. Once a targets shields are reduced to zero, the antimatter will react with the matter of a ships
hull causing extreme damage, often disintegrating a ship in a couple of bursts.

This modification should fit in well with most Ixa decks, even high order ones. Combined with cards like Shield Failure
and Subharmonic Attack Mode, Antimatter Beam can deliver a death blow to an enemies ship with little effort.

Card Creation: Daemon Gladiator of Legion X by AlienProbe

Daemon Gladiator is a product of experimental breeding and engineering by the Tech Masters' Legion X. She is the
most renowned Android hero of all time. Her skills in personal combat are unequaled and her fame in the arena has
grown to epic proportions. Legion X uses Android Daemon to rid themselves of many of their high level adversaries.
Though arena death matches are illegal in many systems, it is widely accepted as a form of entertainment and a way
of solving disputes. To date, Android Daemon has 119 kills in the arena. Challengers have become scarce and even the
mighty Clave warriors are hesitant to go up against her in battle.

Daemon Gladiator is a unique hero with a fair leadership rating. Her special ability is to destroy local enemy heros
with an activated ability. She gains destiny for her owner as her fame climbs with each victory. Because arena
fighting is outlawed at the Star Chamber, Daemon Gladiator will do well not to challenge an opponent there,
otherwise, her owner will get a destiny penalty. If the Gladiator should ever fall in combat her owner will lose
destiny as her fans will be greatly saddened.

Card Creation: Ixa Overseer by Black_Dawn

Abrax is an Ixa Hero whose infamy was know throughout the galaxy. He was given the task of increasing production
by any means. Abrax began a program of indentured servitude throughout Ixa space. His cruel methods of forced
labor increased output at industrial and artifact planets by a significant margin. Abrax was hated by his own people
but revered by his masters.

Ixa Overseer is a conquerer that creates a Laborer citizen each time it conquers a planet. Laborers give industrials
a boost in production and artifacts a destiny lift. The citizen will expire in 3 turns due to the grueling nature of their
task, however, if a local Ixa Overseer is actually overseeing his laborers they get to live a little longer. If another
Ixa Overseer is ditched into the black hole you can create more Laborers to slave away in dispair.

The cost of having cruel task masters like the Ixa Overseer is that if he is destroyed when an enemy conquers his
local planet, the news of the Overseer's atrocities spreads throughout the galaxy and his owner takes a -5 destiny
hit.

This card should fit well into the overall Ixa theme of allowing cits to die for the Homeworld build point bonus. It
also would fit into a black hole deck as its ditch affects are pretty nice.

Card Creation: Magnetic Resonance by DayStar

The peaceful Kej where concerned about the increasing threat of invasion after the Atok Incident. Using Bergault
technology the Kej engineers at Matrix Prime developed a defensive system that harnessed a planets natural
magnetic field. This system could focus radiation that was trapped in the planets magnetic field and redirect it to a
target in nearby space. The power of Magnetic Resonance was tested in battle at the research facility on Luma
during  a pirate raid. The affects of the new system proved invaluable when an outnumbered Kej security force
repelled the pirate ships whose targeting systems were rendered inoperable by the defense system.

Magnetic Resonance targets a  friendly planet and is a military specialty. The power of the system depends on the
amount of radiation trapped in a planets magnetic field. The focused radiation is proven effective for disrupting all
types of technology. When entities arrive at the system modified by Magnetic Resonance, they lose one of their
modifications that is not heavily shielded (eternal). The affects are random and entities that are already at the
system can not be targeted. Of course once a planet is conquered the system is destroyed and rendered useless.

Magnetic resonance should fit well in any balanced or high order deck and should prove useful for protecting systems
against heavily modded enemy fleets or buffed up persona.

Card Creation: Construction Hive by Farmer

After the Atok Incident many of the races developed efficient ways to build large fleets using highly skilled
shipwrights. The Hive Queen would not stand for being out-swarmed by other races so she decided to develop her
own program of advanced ship construction. Like most Thrass ventures it started out with the capture of various
aliens who were enthralled and forced to do the Queen's bidding. Unfortunately for the Thrass, the alien engineers
could not comprehend Thrass technology no matter how much their minds were burrowed. Eventually the thrall would
die and be discarded. Towards the end of the futile campaign, a refuse engineer was given the task of disposing of
the heaps of dead thralls. He told his superior, jokingly, that they should make cruisers out of the rotting bodies.
Three cycles later, the Thrass were turning out cruisers made from alien bio-matter at a rate that far surpassed
those of the other races. Of course, the refuse engineer was slain and thrown in the mix by his superior, who took all
the credit for the idea.

The Construction hive is a platform ship that has a modest amount of defense and a slow movement rate. The
activation cost is lower than the average shipwright due to the fact that you have to destroy a persona during the
deployment phase which is an added extra cost and requires careful planning.

Because the Thrass are good at killing enemy persona, this card should fit right into a good Brain Burrower/Forced
Breeding deck.

Card Creation: The Thing by AlienProbe

The Thing was an ancient Earth hero who developed mutant powers after a radiation accident. Transformed into a
monstrous rocklike being, the Thing was shunned by Earthlings. Another side effect of his radioactive mutation was
that he aged very slowly. After his mutant friends all died off, the Thing grew lonely and weary.

The Thing , became a hermit on one of Jupiter's moons Io, living in lonely isolation for many centuries. By chance an
ambassador from the Silica was on a mission to Earth and Stuart McDougal made a drunken comment about how the
ambassador looked like the Thing from ancient Earth lore. After needling more information from the jolly McDougal the
ambassador learned that the Thing supposedly resided on Io.

Upon their return trip to Homerock, the Silica ambassador decided to investigate Io to see if the tale was true. He
discovered the Thing wandering around the tormented landscape. When the Thing saw the Silica, he could not believe
his eyes. There were beings out their who looked just like him.

The Thing's time of loneliness ended when he joyously decided to accompany the ambassador back to Homerock. The
Thing became an instant hit with his rowdy demeanor and he quickly became a hero again. Before every battle the
boisterous colossus shouts, "Its Splodin Time!"
