Fan Map: Pandora's Box by AlienProbe
Pandora's Box is a map inspired by ancient mythology. With Pandora you never know
what you are going to get. This brings us to the new game mechanic and planet type.
The Pandora System is basically an unknown planet until it is conquered. Once
it is conquered it permanently becomes one of the current minor planet types chosen
at random. These do not include things such as Nexus, Asteroid Fields, etc.
Another feature of the Pandora systems is that when they are initially conquered a
random event takes place. These events can either be beneficial or harmful to the
conquering player. Some possibilities include:
Declare War. If the Galaxy is already at War create a bomber at your Homeworld.
The negative would be:
Declare War. If the galaxy is as Peace you lose 2 destiny.
Here are a few more possibilities :
A random friendly Industrial Planet gets +2/-2 BPs.
A random friendly Artifact Planet gets +2/-2 Culture.
The possibilities are almost endless. See what you can come up with.

Fan Map: Pentagram by AlienProbe
Pentagram is a nice tidy geometric map. The planets are all in
close proximity to each other which will ensure a good deal of
fighting over the galaxies assets. The Homeworlds are very close
to each other also.
One of the two avenues connecting the HWs is an Unstable
Wormhole. The UWH will bounce you to a random planet
effectively preventing a player from jumping to their opponents
HW in two turns.
The other path between the HWs traverses a new system type:
Radioactive Asteroids. The Radioactive Asteroids will make an
opponent think twice before jumping through it. Not only does it
deal 6 missile damage but it also deals 4 Beam damage that
passes through shields to each ships hull. If thats not enough of a
deterrent, all persona who enter RA get a Radiation Mark: At the
end of the following turn destroy marked persona.
Thats not all. Due to the bazaar nature of the galaxy and the
practice of unsavory arts, Spagettification comes into effect
after the first vote. Each time you ditch a card you gain control of
a random enemy persona for 1 turn. This will surely mix things up
and create some crazy games.
